STUDENTS’ CHOICE AWARDS—2005

Each class selected students as their choice for the following awards: Most Attentive, Most Improved, Best Partner, Best Leader, Best Student and Best Martial Artist. The criteria to be met was that a student had to have at least two votes per category to qualify.  Although we allowed students to vote for themselves - we did not count those votes unless they were needed for a tie breaker. 

Unfortunately, not everyone participated, and some did not select a choice for every category. This made it difficult to determine a clear winner because in some cases we had only 1 or vote per category. The other difficulty was that some students attend both the afternoon and evening classes, and they were mixed up with which students to vote for. We’re going to change that next year by requesting that they vote for students in each of the separate classes they attend.  That and getting everyone to participate should make it easier to determine winners.

As for this year, after the careful filtering and tallying of all the votes, and after much deliberation, we have the following results:
