DESCRIPTION OF PRIMARY AWARDS

Special Achievement:

Awarded for continued improvement and development in a specific area of training such as Forms, Sparring, Breaking, etc.

Accumulative Achievement:

Awarded for the continued improvement, development and growth in overall training over an extended period of time.

Achievement of Excellence:

Awarded for always volunteering or being on hand whenever needed, for dedication and in support of fellow martial artists

Student of the Month:

Awarded for demonstrating and achieving overall effort and growth in training, as well as dedication and outstanding leadership.

Star Student:

Awarded for consistent improvement, success, achievement in training, and for earning at least 4 various awards.

Student of the Year:

Awarded for the consistent and overall effort and growth, for exemplary achievement in training during the year, and for earning at least 8 awards throughout the school year.

DESCRIPTION OF SECONDARY AWARDS

Commendable Tournament Effort:

Awarded for demonstrating courage and effort, and for a commendable performance.

Outstanding Tournament Effort:

Awarded for demonstrating courage & effort, outstanding performance and/or for attaining 1st, 2nd or 3rd Place.

American Flag Patch:

Given to students upon entering their first martial arts tournament.

Demo Team Patch:

Given to students for outstanding tournament performance in team forms or for earning a tournament trophy or medal.

Student of the Month Patch:

Given to students once they’ve earned two or more Student of the Month Awards in a school year.
