Beginner
Ranks - New and Returning Students
1. Uniforms, Optional: White jacket and pants, rank belt, school tee shirt
and patch; may be purchased from our school, if desired
2. Sparring Gear not required
Beginner
Ranks - Second High White Belt and up:
1. Full Uniform: White jacket and pants, rank belt, school tee shirt and patch
2. Full Sparring Gear: Head, foot, hand, shin and mouth guards, and also groin
protectors for males
3. Optional for Second High
White Belts and up: Sparring Gear Bag (Small
and large bags available)
4. Recommended for Yellow Belts and up: Taekwondo Forms Book
Intermediate
Ranks - High Green Belt and up:
1. Full Uniform: White jacket and pants, rank belt, school tee shirt and patch
2. Full Sparring Gear: Head, foot, hand, shin, mouth, and groin protectors
for males
3. Practice Weapon: Rubber Knife for Self-Defense practice
4. Recommended: Taekwondo Forms
Book
5. Recommended: Sparring Gear Bag (available with school logo and/or
personalized with name or initials)
Advanced
Ranks - Red Belt and up:
1. Full Uniform: Black (or white) jacket and pants, rank belt, school tee shirt and patch
2. Full Sparring Gear: Head, hand, foot, shin and mouth guards, and groin
protectors for males
3. Practice Weapons: Rubber Knife, Foam or Rubber Club, Rubber Gun
(optional)
4. Recommended: Taekwondo Forms
Book, Black Belt Forms Videos
5. Recommended: Tournament Gear Bag (larger size with school logo;
may be personalized with name or initials)
Black
Belts:
1.
Full Uniform: Black Belts and Jr. Black Belts may wear BLACK, RED/BLACK, or new BLUE short-sleeve or long-sleeve uniforms,
with a RED or BLACK school tee shirt and school patch
2.
Full Sparring Gear and Practice Weapons (see Advanced Rank requirements above)
IMPORTANT
REMINDERS:
1.
Do not wear long sleeved or regular shirts under your
uniform jacket - only school tee shirts or plain white or black tee shirts are
acceptable.
2.
Bring your sparring gear (and Taekwondo folder, if
you have one) to every class
3.
Long hair should be put up in a pony tail or braid
during class.
4.
Jewelry should not be worn in class, especially
dangling earrings or necklaces as they may cause you injury
5.
Keep your uniforms clean and neat and make sure you are
not missing any items.
6.
Keep yourself clean - this is essential when working
closely with others in class.
